Mission Statement
The study of a musical instrument can be a wonderful experience. It can be a creative outlet, it gives one practice in analysis of abstract ideas, and it can also be helpful in developing discipline and in learning to set and achieve goals. In ensemble playing music allows for social interaction as well.

In my teaching practice the basics of piano performance, music theory and ear training are taught and every effort is made to achieve the ideas expressed above. Students are encouraged to be creative, music analysis is stressed, the students advance in their studies at their own pace and they have input in the songs and styles of music they study.

It is my goal to make the study of piano a fun and interesting experience and the beginning of a musical journey that can continue thoughout one's life.
